With the Vocalist from Cave In and the drummer from Converge, we get the opportunity to hear one of the most well blended sounds of all time for a Metal band. It’s hard to say how many genres of rock Mutoid Man incorporates into their songs, but it’s done impressively to say the least. Colliding Punk with Metalcore with Doom trends to your familiar Converge sound then Psychedelic? Whatever you want to call it, its all the right types of Metal and the songs are always heavy, fast-paced, and relatively upbeat. Our favorite example of this is off the song, Gnarcissist. Please give this band a listen to and tell us what you think. I’ve listened to Mutoid’s two albums and EP about ten times only discovering them last week!
