5 Shows/Movies/Games to Pass the Time on Easter.

Let’s face it, Easter isn’t as fun as it was when you were a child. Sure, there is still candy. But there are no Easter Egg hunts for people in their 20’s. So, we have come up with a list of shows, movies, and games to help you through the downtime with your family on this upcoming Sunday.

First off Aliens

Easter is all about the eggs. And who has the best eggs in all of movie history? It’s the Alien franchise of course. You can’t go wrong with any of the Alien movies. My personal favorite is of course is the original 1979 release, Alien. But I do love Prometheus. A lot of people hated Prometheus, but I like the series so much that all of them are watchable. I look forward to the new Alien Covenant coming out May 19. It can’t come soon enough! Now might be a good time to dust off the old Alien Isolation game and give it a play! Here are a few in-game easter eggs to look forward to as well!  http://www.ign.com/wikis/alien-isolation/Easter_Eggs

Bob’s Burgers

Bob’s Burgers has a new Easter episode! Hooray! I don’t want to go into too much detail but the episode is very funny and if you are a fan of the series it will not let you down. Want to make your own Bob’s Burgers Easter eggs? No Problem, here is a cute paper craft to keep you busy.

Donnie Darko

Want to see what the Easter bunny is really like and where he comes from? You should watch Donnie Darko and revel in all the time travel goodness. If you don’t watch the movie I am going to seriously start doubting your commitment to sparkle motion.

Game of Thrones

Duh dragon eggs. Take this opportunity to catch up on Game of Thrones before someone on Reddit posts something and ruins it for you. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5S-MxT2W7hw

 Fallout Shelter

The beloved vaultec overseer game has had an Easter makeover for the holiday weekend.  Enjoy Easter exclusive missions, themes, and items to keep your vault experience relevant as you collect enough caps for that second living quarters expansion just as the collection plate passes over to your pew in church.  Better work on keeping that discreet, overseeing is a full time job, church or no church!

Ok that’s it for my Easter round up. Can you think of any noteworthy shows, movies and games with ties to Easter?

Happy Easter!
