Butcher’s Block becomes the next chapter from creator Nick Antcosta and the third year on Syfy. For the first time, the show is airing in the first quarter of the year vice the typical Fall season. And this season is creepier than ever with a Twin Peaks-esque town with ghosts, cannibals, a murderous little person dwelling in the woods of a park, and last but not least, a drug abusing psychopath roaming the streets with scissors?!
It’s a lot to take in but this season did a great job of keeping us straight on the plot, not asking questions, or confused about the story. It may adhere to specific phobias viewers may have and involves some graphic scenes of cannibalism with a lot of “WTF?” moments.
As always, Channel Zero focuses on a different story each season and in a non-linear fashion giving you the opportunity to pick up on this show currently if you have never seen the series before.
In the two episodes we’ve seen, this season is shaping up to be the best creepy pasta re-creation this show has presented yet! Whether Channel Zero is cleared to air again in the Fall is yet to be seen, however, you can catch up on the last two seasons if you haven’t already done so.
