So far, this year has brought upon us some solid metal as we sum up the first quarter with fresh material to feast our ears on. Here’s this week’s quick list of noteworthy bands to take a listen to and be sure to look out for their new stuff:

- Vampire-With Primeval Force (Track: “Revenants”) They have a traditional Black Metal sound with their second full length album releasing April 27th. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x-yYBf7V9bA
- The Charm The Fury-The Sick, Dumb, and Happy (Track: “No End in Sight”) Has an Alt/Metal Sound that is upbeat but not annoying. Just released. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H52lnmtCan4
- Hollow World-Exanimate (Track: “Defiling Paradise”) More of a Brutal/Technical Sound but not as intense as Cattle Decapitation. Just released. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6JHvdoUMLvY
- Caliban and Die Krupps-Alive in a Glass Cage EP (Track: “Alive in a Glass Cage”) Not new but new to us and an awesome collaboration with industrial band Die Krupps. Had to list it. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LC4ubIEWs7k
